Polishing Starter Kit
Are you thinking about getting the supplies to polish your own metal but don't know what to order... this kit is your answer.
I've put the essential polishing products you will need to get started into one easy kit.
This starter kit is setup to do just that, get you started. Once you have an opportunity to play with each of the products in this kit you will start to learn what works best for your application. Then will be able to order just what you need to restock as you use to the products.
You can pick between a 40 ply Loose flannel finish wheel, a 10" flannel airway and an Untreated cotton finish wheel in this kit. The flannel airway and untreated cotton finish wheel kits will not include an Arbor extension. Those are only in the 40 ply Loose flannel kits.
Loose flannel kits are very user friendly and wil give you a mirror finish with good luster.
Flannel airway kits are a little less user friendly in the finish step but can deliver a slightly better finish with lower hash.
The untreated cotton kit is perfect for a word truck finish. Bright mirror finish but may have slight hash, also great for cast aluminum parts wjere a higher finishing speed will give you better luster. You can run this finish buff with out purple bar up to 3200 rpm. (Great for cast aluminum).
We've switched from our Blue finish compound to our Purple finish compound for a better user experience.
